Design concept creation is how we settle the look of a floor before any grinder is switched on. It covers colour matching to Pantone references, hex codes or a physical sample. It covers layouts with borders, zones and patterns, and logos, emblems or text set into the coating with stencils and hand-applied techniques. For bigger projects we also produce 3D renderings. For every project we make physical samples, so you judge the real materials rather than a screen.

A basic design consultation comes with every job. Complex custom work — logos, multi-zone patterns, renderings — can carry a design fee, which is credited toward your installation.

The same flake blend or metallic pigment can look noticeably different under warm LED, cool fluorescent shop lights and daylight from a garage door. A chip on a phone screen tells you very little. A sample board under the lights you will actually live with tells you far more. That matters most with metallic epoxy, where every pour moves differently. A sample shows the range of colour and movement to expect, not an exact copy of the pattern.

With acrylic flake, sampling usually comes down to a few blends from our flake colour chart laid side by side. Blends look different at full size than in thumbnails, and a mid-tone that hides dust in a garage may look too busy in a finished basement.
